Quinlan Terry AA Dipl, FRIBA

Quinlan Terry is a Fellow of the RIBA and is the senior partner of Quinlan and Francis Terry LLP Architects. He was a Rome Scholar in 1968/69 and from 1996/98 was a member of the Royal Fine Art Commission. He holds the European Prize for the Reconstruction of the City of Archives d'Architecture Moderne. His library at Downing College won the Building of the Year Award 1994. He won the Best Modern Classical House, awarded in 2003 & 2008 by the Georgian Group and in 2005 he won the Richard H Driehaus Prize for Classical Architecture. He now works in partnership with his son Francis who qualified as an architect in 1994 from Cambridge University.

Roger Barrell BSc MAPM

Roger has a degree in Building Surveying, is a Member of the Association of Project Managers, a member of The Society of the Protection of Ancient Buildings and has an HNC in Building Studies (Contractor). He joined the practice in 1983 and is the son of Hugh Barrell who had worked in the office from 1947 to 2002 working with Raymond Erith and then Quinlan Terry.

Francis Terry MA (Cantab), Dip Arch, RIBA

Son of Quinlan Terry, educated at Stowe School and Cambridge University. He worked in Washington for Allan Greenburg Architects in 1992 and joined the practice in 1994. He has served on the casework panel of the Georgian Group. (2005-2007).
He regularly exhibits architectural drawings at the Royal Academy and was the winner of the Worshipful Company of Architects Prize for Architectural Drawing in 2002.

Les Canham

Les has a TEC Diploma in Building and TEC Higher Certificate in Building Studies (Architectural). Les joined the practice in 1981 as a junior draughtsman and is now an associate responsible for major contracts on site.

Christine Terry AA Dipl, RIBA

Studied at the Architectural Association. Has worked in the practice intermittently since the early 60's. Specializes in interior decoration and landscaping.

Martyn Winney RA

Martyn has a Higher National Certificate in Building. Martyn joined the practice in 1989 as a junior draughtsman and is now an associate responsible for major contracts on site. He has exhibited at the Royal Academy summer exhibition on several occasions and came third in the Georgian group measured architectural drawing prize 2008.
